Highlights from the First-ever VeloCloud Global Partner Summit Event

Recently we held our first VeloCloud Registered Partner Summit kickoff event here in Silicon Valley. This was something we felt we needed to do given our explosive growth in customers and partners and our global registered partner list doubling every six months. Simply put, VeloCloud saw an opportunity. While we are excited to bring on new partners to help provide both geographic and vertical market coverage, at the same time it’s important to bring our partners together to learn, share experiences and build relationships with VeloCloud and one another. The summit also lent itself to a more efficient way to impart hands-on personalized training to such a geographically disparate group.
The response was overwhelming with over 80 partners in attendance, including global enterprise Value Added Resellers (VARs), System Integrators (SIs) along with Tier 1 and Tier 2 service providers from four continents.
The primary goals were to teach our partners “how to delight the end customer”, “how to make money”, and “how to be an expert on Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN”. We achieved all of this with hands-on technical training, personalized high-touch engagement, interactive discussions, and lab training on VeloCloud Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN. The energy and enthusiasm of the group naturally fueled robust debates, brainstorming sessions, and competitive comparisons of dozens of use-cases. We made a decision to conduct the hands-on training at our recently expanded corporate headquarters. This enabled Partners to interact directly with VeloCloud engineering, test, support, product and leadership teams. Partners were able to get all of their technical questions answered directly by the people who invented, designed and built Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN.
Don’t get me wrong, VeloCloud Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN is easy to deploy, use and manage, but it requires a whole new mindset to embrace this disruptive technology. We are changing the way enterprises architect, deploy and augment their networks for the future. As a 100% Channel delivered company, VeloCloud is keen to ensure that each of our partners, no matter their type (VARs, SIs and Tier 1 and 2 Managed Service Providers) or size can help their enterprise customers build fast, secure, and reliable WANs for the cloud era, and in turn make themselves highly successful.
There’s no denying the magnitude of interest and excitement in the networking world for SD-WAN technology. However, what has made our partners stand up, take notice, and moreover, want to actively engage with VeloCloud, is that VeloCloud Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN offers Enterprise class performance by using diverse transport types including the Internet. It delivers secure elastic transport and performance for all types of applications, whether cloud-based or data-center-based, in both on-net and off-net cases at a fraction of today’s cost. As our prospective partners repeatedly ask, “how can I get on board?”
