VeloCloud to Demonstrate Enterprise-Grade Unified Communications
over the Internet at BroadSoft Connections 2014
Pair of Awards Recognize VeloCloud as Hot Company in Networking, as a Leading Software-Defined WAN Provider
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., October 10, 2014
VeloCloud Networks will demonstrate at the BroadSoft Connections 2014: Power Up show why its Cloud-Delivered WAN is the ideal network for cloud-based unified communications (UC).
VeloCloud’s live demonstration will show how its technology enables enterprise-grade performance and reliability for unified communications delivered over the top of ordinary broadband Internet or hybrid networks.
The demonstration will incorporate two video phone connections—one using a traditional link and the other using VeloCloud’s dynamic multi-path technology—as well as BroadSoft’s BroadWorks unified communications service and PacketSmart network assessment solution. Visitors to VeloCloud’s booth at the show will experience the clear difference in high-quality voice and video enabled by VeloCloud technology.
By using VeloCloud’s cloud-delivered WAN, managed service providers (MSPs) can quickly deploy UC-ready branch WANs with assured services quality over either pure broadband Internet or hybrid networks that combine public broadband with private (e.g., MPLS) links. VeloCloud’s dynamic multipath optimization continuously monitors network capacity and performance to steer unified communications traffic around network glitches in real time and to correct packet loss and jitter on demand. MSPs can use the VeloCloud technology to provide their customers with the ease of deployment, flexibility and cost advantages promised by cloud-hosted unified communications.
BroadSoft Connections 2014 Expo and Conference will be held Oct 12-15, 2014.
