VeloCloud Networks Inc., the Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN™ company, today announced that it is demonstrating enterprise IT cost reduction, network complexity elimination and application performance improvement at ONUG Spring 2016 in Mountain View, Calif., May 9 – 11.
These demonstrations showcase the unique characteristics of the VeloCloud Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN approach to simplifying deployment and management of hybrid WAN, cloud services performance and network automation. Specifically, the demo features:
- Exceptional quality of experience for critical applications such as Microsoft Skype for Business
- Automated branch VPN connectivity to IaaS platforms such as Amazon Web Services
- Service chaining for business essential applications such as Google Mail to distributed on-premises Data Leak Protection (DLP) services
- Automatic discovery of traditional network routing using standard routing, such as OSPF
VeloCloud is also announcing its charter leadership role in the first ONUG driven collaborative initiative to enable an industry-wide transition to Open Software-Defined Infrastructure. VeloCloud and this collaborative initiative will drive the development of standards and open source software.
